From developing new skills to building confidence, we’re committed to offering a safe and supportive space for your dancer. To help you prepare, here are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about our classes.
Feel free to reach out or stop by the studio with any additional questions. We’re here to help you and your dancer have the best experience possible!
Our dance classes are designed to be independent, allowing students to focus on learning and engaging with their instructor. For younger classes, parents are invited into the classroom at the end of class for a mini performance. This helps build confidence in students while giving parents a chance to see the progress their dancer is making.
Wearing the correct attire helps dancers feel confident and prepared while allowing instructors to clearly see body lines and provide effective feedback. Proper attire also supports safety and comfort during movement.
Yes! We offer a wide range of dancewear, including leotards, skirts, tights, and more, as well as dance shoes for all styles. Because dance shoe sizing is different from street shoe sizing, we offer in-person fittings to ensure the perfect fit. Most items are available immediately, and out-of-stock items typically arrive within a week.
We maintain a relaxed yet conservative dress code. Midriff-baring tops are not permitted, and hair should be tied back. Appropriate shoes for each dance style are required.
We carry leotards, tights, dance shorts, ballet skirts, tutus, and Studio b gear like sweatshirts and tanks. For shoes, we offer ballet, jazz, half-sole shoes, black high-top sneakers, and tap shoes.
Absolutely! We provide in-person fittings to ensure your dancer’s shoes fit correctly and comfortably, supporting their performance and growth.

Class Attire Guidelines
At Studio b, we aim to create a supportive environment where every dancer can shine. Our relaxed yet professional dress code is designed to build confidence, enhance movement, and ensure safety in every class. Proper attire also allows instructors to see body lines, helping dancers achieve their best technique. Required shoes and dancewear are available for purchase at the studio, and our team is happy to assist with fittings. Hair should always be pulled back, and midriff-baring tops are not permitted. If your dancer identifies outside the gender binary, please select the attire option that feels most comfortable. Questions? Email us at [email protected].
